General
What is EFR?
EFR is an online tool that turns your CV into a QR code and digital business card. Upload your PDF, get a unique link and a QR code that recruiters can scan to instantly access your profile.
Is it really free?
Yes! The free plan lets you upload 1 CV, get a QR code, and a shareable link at no cost. The Pro plan unlocks advanced features like unlimited CVs, custom business cards, and AI extraction.
Do I need to create an account?
Yes, an account is required to upload and manage your CVs. Signing up takes one click via Google or GitHub — no password to remember.
CV and QR Code
What file formats are accepted?
Currently, EFR only accepts PDF files. Make sure your CV is in PDF format before uploading.
Is my CV stored securely?
Yes, all files are stored on secure servers via UploadThing. Only people with your link or QR code can access your CV.
Can I edit my CV after uploading it?
To update your CV, delete the old one and upload the new version. The new file will receive a new link and QR code.
Does the QR code expire?
No, your QR code remains valid as long as your account is active and the CV has not been deleted.
Can I track who viewed my CV?
The dashboard shows the total number of views for each CV. You can track the progress in real time.
Business Card
How do I create a business card?
From the dashboard, click the business card icon next to your CV. You'll access the editor where you can choose a template, customize colors, and download the card as a PNG.
How many templates are available?
EFR offers 12 business card templates with 6 different layouts. Each template can be customized with your own colors.
How does AI extraction work?
When editing your card, EFR uses artificial intelligence to automatically extract your information (name, email, phone, skills, etc.) from your CV PDF. You can then edit this information manually.
Subscription and Billing
What are the differences between Free and Pro?
The Free plan includes 1 CV, a QR code, and a shareable link. The Pro plan adds unlimited CVs, custom business cards, automatic AI extraction, and detailed analytics.
Can I pay as I go?
Yes! If you don't want to subscribe to Pro, you can unlock individual features: extra CV, business card, AI extraction, or analytics.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Dashboard > Billing > "Manage subscription". You will be redirected to the Stripe portal where you can cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the paid period.
What payment methods are accepted?
We use Stripe for payments. You can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or other methods available in your region.
